ATTN: ALL RESIDENTS LOCATED WITHIN AREAS OF CURRENT OR PLANNED CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATED WITH THE SEWER INFRASTRUCTURE REHABILITATION PROJECT
Road excavation work along Pointes Drive E (PDE) is extensive and has required detailed planning in order to meet safety protocols and established project deadlines. Necessary road closures are in place along PDE between Portage and Bos'n, and subsequently affects access to PDE via Portage, Barbary, and Bos'n. Resident Only access (with delays) and Detours are posted. Affected residents are encouraged to do what they are able by planning ahead and parking vehicles on nearby accessible roads for their use between 8 am and 5 pm. This will help you avoid delayed access while contractors interrupt their work to create a safe route for you. NOTE: All deliveries by large trucks, or planned contractor work, requiring driveway access to homes in these affected areas, must be scheduled in advance with the District GM. This will help us to provide you with timely access and minimize extra charges to home owners by delivery companies. The GM will coordinate with the construction superintendent to facilitate this access during normal work hours.
The east bluff trail is closed south of Bos'n due to blocked trailheads at Portage and Pitcairn as the trailheads exit into active excavation sites. Please observe signs.
